Welcome to My Creative World
I've spent my life shaping the world through art—one sculpture, mosaic, teapot, drawing, and painting at a time. With a BFA in Crafts from VCU and an MFA in Ceramics from ECU, my work has been featured in national juried exhibitions and collected internationally, including by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beirut.
Living in Iran left a lasting impact on my artistic vision—Persian art, architecture, weaponry, and metalwork continue to inspire me today. My work is always evolving, led by curiosity, history, and the creative impulse of the moment.
Art has also been my way of engaging with the world. From political paintings to installation art, I’ve used my work to challenge, reflect, and start conversations. My political work has focused on local, state, and national themes, addressing issues such as the often-denied racism on a particular university campus and North Carolina’s Senate elections. I’ve also collaborated with the ECU Women’s Studies group on the Take Back the Night March, using art as a voice for activism and change.
Take a look around, and if you're feeling inspired, let’s collaborate and create something meaningful together!
